In other words, Cave Creek spends almost twice the money to provide services for one fourth of the population as our neighbor.
Cave Creek was founded back in 1986 to block Bob Kite from building a grocery store in the center of town. A few years later Sorchych started the Sonoran News as an anti-development rabble rouser and anyone who didn’t agree with him was branded a bad person. His vile hatred made some paranoid, drove others away, but political aspirants saw the potential in Don’s venom and did his bidding. The Buddhist Bookie Francia and the Muslim Migraine Abujbarah in concert with Sorchych soon solidified their status as the Mayor, Manager, and Mendacity maker.
Manifesting the manipulative characteristics of borderline personality disorder, Don divides the world in black and white where he’s the “Watch Dog” and those who have dissimilar views are labeled “the dark side.” Usama and Vince are ‘enablers” to his addictive disorders because it’s better to have the Dog for a friend than an enemy.
A cadre of sycophants surrounded the stooges. They took the town for a joy ride running up debt to the tune of $60 Million+. Rather than create a unique town center with character, the Three Stooges wanted Wal Mart, the company that kills jobs and makes communities poorer. The Stooges needed Wal Mart because they bought the water company and failed to comprehend the cost. The Stooges sang the song that he who controls the water controls growth, but was it growth of the town or growth of their power? Just like Carefree, once they bought the water company, water rates skyrocketed.
The Sorchych sycophants made building permits a profit center to pay for their blubbery bureaucracy and unabashedly gouge new residents up to $40,000 in impact fees. But when the building bubble burst, like a junkie looking for a fix, they sought to levy a “fire” tax. Statistics show there is are only 2 house fires per year in Cave Creek.
But they can’t hide $60 Million of red ink. The Town’s own budget planning claims it will take to 2030 to pay off the debt. The reality is that the Stooges want to tax Cave Creek residents to solidify their power base to the tune of $2,500 per household. The same Pinocchios who told you that Morning Star was just a bridle path are they same liars promulgating the budget. Don’t forget that Francia hired Ralph Mozilo, the brother of the infamous Angelo of Countrywide Mortgage fraud fame, to be the Town’s financial advisor a few years ago.
The Muslim Migraine and the Council clowns spent $176,000 to pay off Cahava Springs tax liens so the land could be “gifted” to the Town… like a Trojan Horse. Anthem is just over the hill from Cahava Springs. That “bridle path” on Morning Star road then links Anthem to Cave Creek. No wonder they didn’t care about Enchanted Canyon traffic. While increased traffic may help some business, it will kill the character of Cave Creek. Current management and leadership doesn’t care so long as they control the town.
It’s time for transparency. Let’s clean house and take out the trash. We need leaders who will tell the truth and don’t fear an old Dog.
