Friends of the Sonoran Truth tell us that Arek Fressadi filed a RICO complaint in Federal Court last week against Sorchych and the Sonoran News for conspiring with Cave Creek employees and officials of the Town of Cave Creek. RICO crimes carry mandatory treble damages. Sorchych, Abujbarah, Francia, Cordwell, and Anderson are facing potential jail time of 3 to 35 years.
The scam involved converting Fressadi’s lot split into a subdivision, then issuing Fressadi bogus permits in violation of the Town’s Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Ordinance apparently as ruse where Fressadi would invest a lot of money all for naught as the Town could correct its mistakes based on case law. The Town and Sorchych worked together to harm Fressadi by painting him in a false light.
