Heil Hoeppner uses his best double speak spin to kick off the recall, reminisces about what his band of socialists were selling back in 1992: No sanctity of private property—that Creekers lived under socialist rule, for the “common good.”
They claim they wanted a diverse populace but structured the Town to be a haven for old “white bread” extreme right wingers.
They claimed to uphold high ethical standards, but had no issue with lying through their teeth or manipulating town governance to serve their ends and punish their enemies they consider, “the dark side.”
Their mission and vision sounds like Utopia. I’m surprised Flight of the Valkyries is not piped from every cactus along Cave Creek Rd.
“A viable central commercial core attracts and serves residents and visitors alike.” This is where this whole us vs. them argument is so skewed by Sorchcyh and why so many of the activists who initially signed on to support C4 back in ’92 actively supported candidates who would disrupt the Sorchych controlled status quo. Which is why Hoeppner is hallucinating. If he really believed what he claims was his objective in 1992, he’d be writing for the Truth, and have supported Shea Stanfield and Fressadi’s vision for a Town Center on Kite’s property. Instead, Sorchych got his shorts twisted and all his sycophants had to tow the line. Rather than have a vibrant town center, we got a Wal Mart. Hypocrites. Shame on you Hoeppner.
