Sorchych is all hat and no horse. His recent editorial incoherently rambled around taking pot shots at everyone- like a drunk with six gun.
We didn’t lambast Rodney. We restated our position that to effectively clean up corruption in Cave Creek, there needs to be more surgery than just getting rid of the Town Manager. The Town needs new legal counsel, a new Mayor, and a new Director of Planning.
The settlement agreement had nothing to do with the trail system. The settlement agreement was DOA because Cave Creek is incompetently corrupt- it offered a deal to Stapp that violated the annexation agreement. That’s the issue. Town Council needs to question why the Town’s counsel would sign off on a settlement agreement that would cause the Town to breach its annexation agreement. That’s the issue.
Basically Don buses in agitators to Town Council meetings and they make all kinds of accusations which are totally irrelevant to the issue(s) before Town Council. Anyone who lives next to or around Sorchych has our sympathy and friendship.
Anyone can write this blog and we obviously get read or council members wouldn’t email us.
