Don’s opinions are a broken record. Here we are in 2014, and Don is still belly aching about how Trenk handled the termination of Usama. Earth to Don- Usama was an “AT WILL” employee. There is no contract to buy out. Usama wanted to cuddle with Don rather than take orders from the new Council. Man cannot have two masters. If Usama isn’t going to abide by the wishes of the Council, his services as Town Manager are not needed.
Usama ran up a tab with Dickinson Wright in the amount of $80,000 for advising Usama on personal legal matters without the knowledge or consent of Town Council. That’s grounds for Usama’s termination if grounds were needed, but they’re not. Donny Boy claims Usama chiseled Dickinson Wright’s fee down from $25,000 a month to a flat fee of $7,500 a month. Bu it’s not the cost of legal fees that put the burden on taxpayers but the misconduct of Usama as Town Manager that causes Creekers to carry a financial load.
The Sorchych Nazi Big Lie strategy is to blame Adam Trenk. As part of the Big Lie, Usama filed a “Federal” lawsuit claiming any curtailment of Usama’s insubordination would be a First Amendment Violation. This appears to be another frivolous lawsuit filed by pigeons to flap their wings, and poop all over the place for political purposes.
Although hiring Glassman as an interim town manager was ineffective, appointing Carrie Dyrek as interim Town Manager as Don suggests, would not have been any better and Carrie did not want the job. Sorchych praises Jankowski for transparency but Jankowski is only performing according to the wishes of the new majority council members– the members Sorchych wants to recall. Hello? IF the Sore Losers unseat one council member, then Usama will be back, and transparency will be gone.
Jerry and Jan Freeman have the misfortune to live next to Sorchych and have spent years in Court due to abuse by Sorchych and the Town of Cave Creek. Don doesn’t like that Planning Commission member Eileen Wright attended a court hearing having to do with a town planning matter regarding access and easements. I guess Chancellor Sorchych wants all Creekers to get his permission before they attend a court hearing concerning “the Don.” So long as Don runs the Town, everything is fine. What a bunch of Bullocks.
