Is there something wrong with this picture?
The Sorecheeks “Team” has been busy criticizing Trenk for organizing an OPEN public forum on February 12th ( tonight) at Town Hall hoping it will discourage us citizens from attending. Why did Trenk organize the forum? Good question. Because Sorecheeks chose not to step up to the plate to sponsor a candidate forum at Town Hall himself as he’s done for elections past! Hmmm. Wonder why that might be?

Why did Trenk organize the forum? Good question. Because Sorecheeks chose not to step up to the plate to sponsor a candidate forum at Town Hall himself as he’s done for elections past! Hmmm. Wonder why that might be?
They’re calling the forum a “publicity stunt.” Really? Sharing important information from both sides to help citizens in their voting decision is a publicity stunt? Do they realize how stupid that sounds?
Then, word is that the four on Team Sorecheeks may not be there tonight. What? Deny us citizens of Cave Creek the opportunity to hear both sides? Why would they do that if they think this stupid recall is justified. Why? Why don’t they want us to hear both sides so we can make an informed decision? What is the Sorecheeks “Team” afraid of, or trying to hide, by refusing to show up at an open (means EVERYONE can attend) forum? Is it because of fear that their lies and false accusations will be exposed?
Hold on! BUT, Then they boast of their planned Rancho Manana forum which, BTW, all four councilmen will attend. Guess what? it’s a CLOSED forum only permitting qualified HOA members to attend. What good is that? All the rest of us are shut out because we’re not “qualified.” What good is boasting about a forum that isn’t open to all Cave Creek citizens? I repeat. Why would they boast about a forum that is CLOSED to the rest of us?
Does anyone else see that there’s something really wrong with this picture? Blurry? Fuzzy? Out of focus!
Join those of us who’ll be at tonight’s OPEN forum (7pm) at our town hall to get the information we need for our vote. Who the heck cares who organized it! We’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and get the facts in this important (though unnecessary) recall election and that’s what counts. And maybe, just maybe, the Sorecheeks “Team” might change their minds and show up after all. Anyone taking bets on that? Hmmm. Maybe they just want to keep us in suspense.
