Of course, ya gotta hand it to the Fat Lady, Janet Mohr for singing to the judge that she didn’t pay any attention to the back of the petitions. Minor irregularities like forging signatures…failing to obtain notaries… yeah this is the kind of professionalism we’d look for in a Realtor… or in a Pharmacist. What does Hani Saba do with access to all those drugs?
The Honorable Town Council Member Reg Monachino put it most succinctly: “Today in Maricopa County Superior Court the Honorable Robert Oberbillig ruled that there were sufficient irregularities in the recall petitions against Mike Durkin and Charlie Spitzer to declare the recall null and void.”
We’re waiting to receive a copy of the final order but apparently Judge Oberbillig clearly and explicitly noted in his decision that the petition circulators (in particular Janet Mohr and Hani Saba) knowingly and willfully signed affidavits they knew to be false. In other words, they committed petition fraud. The Truth also wonders about Carrie Dyrek, Linda Bentley’s buddy. Why would Carrie certify fraudulent petitions? These are the folks who want Usama to be Town Manager and go back to the status quo of the last 15 years, and this is why we exist- to make sure that never happens.
