A Sonoran Truth Guest Editorial by Eileen Wright, February 8, 2014
If our town is going to survive this Recall intact, then we must strengthen and solidify our resolve by voting for ALL FOUR (4) of our Councilmen.
We must commit ourselves to fighting harder and smarter than ever before over the next few days. Our ability to break through and deliver the TRUTH is absolutely critical to our town’s survival. How do we defeat the evil that has saturated our town? By boycotting the source of the evil.
If we keep our four (4) Councilmen, we can cement our rural, low-density, equestrian way of life for decades to come. However, if even one (1) of our Councilmen lose the Recall, we will be forced to sit and watch as our western, rural lifestyle becomes extinct.
Least we forget Dick Esser sat on the council and voted to put our town $60 million in debt. In the last election he withdrew in the face of overwhelming opposition due to his poor performance as a councilman. He tried to violate election law by coming back into the fray at Usama’s suggest but Jerry Freeman sued him and won. Citizens sent a clear message to Steve LaMar as he received the lowest number of votes and was dropped from the election.
Yes, we will go head-to-head with the challengers by mailing in our ballots by March 4th and voting for ALL FOUR (4) of our Councilmen. Cave Creek is deeply rooted in its western heritage. The sunrise and sunset that lights the morning and evening sky are all consuming. We must never back down, not ever. We must win this fight with integrity. Our rural lifestyle is unequaled…..help us preserve what we have by voting for our councilmen:
