Hoeppner

Given John Hoeppner’s letters and feedback from the community were substantial, we set up this sub-page in Letters to the Editor.

Can you please remove the Letter to the editor: 20130717 Sonoran News Guest Editorial
The attached Guest Editorial was submitted to the Sonoran News 2 weeks ago in response to the July 10th Guest Editorial by John Hoeppner.  It was submitted to the Foothills Focus this past week.  Seems nobody wants to publish any responses to Sorchych’s ranting minions. This certainly lends truth to the fact that Sorchych refused to print opposition letters during the election this year.

Dear Scott:
We think your Sonoran News Guest Editorial is an excellent letter to the editor and find nothing malicious or untruthful in its content. If Usama or Sorchych, or John Hoeppner or anyone else has an issue with your guest editorial, we will be happy to print it. Hoeppner has made sweeping accusations but has provided no specifics as to what he considers malicious. We will be happy to print anything John submits to us with the caveat that if he sounds stupid, will comment accordingly.
Best wishes,
Editor.

Dear Sonoran Truth,

Enclosed please find the incorporation documents of Cave Creek. Cave Creek inc It does not appear that John Hoeppner had anything to do with the incorporation of Cave Creek. In my opinion, John’s comments and business activities should be of concern to all of us based on misinformation, the kind that Sorchych and Hoeppner seem to specialize in. Although I initially considered your SS acronym for “Sorchych Sycophants” as funny, Don’s swastika cartoon is not funny. Given Hoeppner’s tirade against the Truth, I researched the surname Hoeppner during the Nazi era. Since umlauts aren’t used English names, HÖPPNER becomes HOEPPNER. I discovered that SS-Sturmbannfuehrer (Major) Rolf-Heinz Hoppner sent a memo to Eichmann on July 16, 1941: “It must be seriously considered, whether the most humane solution is not to finish off the Jews who are unable to work by means of a quickly working agent. In any event, this would be more appropriate than to let them starve.” Jews in the Warsaw ghetto had been reduced to 184 calories a day.  http://www.holocaust-history.org/der-ewige-jude/montreal-19970611-written.shtml#note-80 Could Hoeppner be related to the infamous Nazi HÖPPNER? I don’t know but I wonder. Why would Hoeppner support a newspaper that prints swastikas unless he shares what appears to be similar perspectives? It should be noted that Joseph Goebbels compared Jews to rats just like Sorchych recently did regarding the newly elected Town Council Members. The Aryan Nation held a rally in Cave Creek ten years ago to support Don’s “anti-Mexican” drive. Prior to Arpaio supporting Don’s racist views, Don was anti- Arpaio. But once Arpaio started racial profiling and rounding up Mexicans, Joe could do no wrong in Don’s eyes.

Dear Sonoran Truth,

In keeping with your title, I am searching for some truth that eludes me.  Maybe you can help.  I’m referring to the letter John Hoeppner wrote to you about his company.

I have some questions that I fail to find answers for in Hoeppner’s NameQuest site. I spent time poring through it and have more questions now than I did before.

What exactly is Verbal DNA Branding? Verbal Branding is not even in his glossary.  http://www.namequest.com/Glossary.html

And what does it have to do with pictures of John McCain?  Did Hoeppner ‘Verbally DNA Brand’ John McCain?  I thought he was born with that name.

How exactly did he ‘Verbally DNA Brand’ the companies he’s showing on his website?

NameQuest says they’ve been in business since 1984. I thought Nabisco, SC Johnson, Campbell Soup, et.al,  were around long before 1984 but they are prominently shown on his website.   Did he ‘Verbally DNA Brand” them?  Did they give permission to use their names for his Verbal DNA Branding?  I wonder.

What exactly are these companies paying for with ‘Verbal Branding’? For that matter what is Verbal DNA Branding…but I digress.

His website says: “He is one of the founders of Cave Creek.”

Gosh, he must be pretty old! Cave Creek was established as a gold mining town and stopping point for the U.S. Cavalry in the mid-1870s.   http://cavecreekvisitorsguide.com/

Even more strange, the ‘Founder of Cave Creek’ has his business address in Carefree.

NameQuest, Inc. – U.S. Mail: PO Box 5587 – Carefree, AZ 85377 USA  http://www.namequest.com/Contact_Us.html

As a ‘founder’ of Cave Creek, why is he using Carefree as his business address?

And finally, you are quite right about this Sonoran ‘Truth’. He has a deep connection to the Sonoran News. It’s the same newspaper that prints Swastikas and then says it was meaningless.  All the pictures are courtesy of Don Sorchych…. Sonoran News publisher.

To Sonoran Truth:

It has been brought to my attention that you have published on the Internet (on at least two separate occasions) untruthful information about me.  It is apparent that your intention is to do harm to my reputation by attempting to bring me into the ridicule, hatred, scorn and the contempt of others.  Your libelous statements about me are intentional, malicious and defamatory.

Because of your obvious malice, I have requested that my attorney explore general damages for injury to my reputation, and special damages for any potential loss of business. Damages will be accrued based on the number of days your libelous information remains available to the public.

I strongly suggest that you immediately remove all electronic posts using my name or likeness from the Sonoran Truth and any affiliated websites and/or publish a retraction.  Additionally, I find it somewhat hypocritical that you are trying to hide your identity.  If needed, you can be located and identified.

Penny Wise and Pound Foolish

Posted on July 5, 2013 by admin

A Sonoran Truth Editorial, July 5, 2013.

Jon Hoeppner, a Sorchych Sycophant, addressed the Town Council on July 1, 2013 to raise some easily refutable issues. See John at 55:32: Cave Creek’s Town Council meeting, July 1, 2012: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cTW3ivz1Po&feature=youtu.be

First Jon claims to be a Founding Father of Cave Creek. Cave Creek was created to stop Bob Kite from building a shopping center on the northwest corner of Schoolhouse and Cave Creek Rd. Bob would be a local businessman. Jon goes to great lengths to support the Sonoran News– that the Town should not boycott a local business but fails to mention that the origin of the Town is based upon boycotting Kite- a local businessman who wanted to build a grocery store in the center of town. Basically Jon’s history exposed the fallacy of his argument– it’s OK to boycott business that the Out to Lunch Bunch doesn’t like but it’s not OK to boycott the Sonoran News even though the Sonoran News is not in compliance with Federal law for publishing Town notices, i.e. the Town’s official newspaper.

Instead of having a practical grocery store in the middle of town creating tax revenue for the last twenty years, we have an ugly eyesore with only our post office. Thanks Jon.

Jon claims that the Town has always upheld it’s zoning ordinances. Tell that to the folks who had to fight Enchanted Canyon. Tell that to the folks whose property values plummeted when Cave Creek approved Wal Mart building a big box in a residential neighborhood.

Jon falsely claims that the Town is wasting money to pay for two town managers. Technically, the Town only has ONE town manager- Rodney Glassman.  The former Town Manager was relieved of all duties. He is only providing information on an as needed basis to smooth out the transition, a normal business practice.

Hoeppner also argues that a forensic audit could easily be accomplished in a couple of weeks by a couple of CPAs with a couple of cups of strong coffee. In contrast to Hoeppner’s comments, the Sonoran Truth received a letter to the editor containing a Notice of Claim against the Town for $75 Million in criminal fines that allegedly are accruing daily. These fines are due to the Town violating its zoning ordinance under the supervision of former Town Manager Usama Abujbarah. Apparently Cave Creek failed to comply with the US Constitution as required by state law in ARS 9-500.13 and ARS 9-500.12.

The Town required the creation of lots to approve lot splits without due process or nexus for the dedication. The extra lot converted the lot splits into unlawful subdivisions rendering the lots unsuitable for building and not entitled to building permits.

The Sonoran News accused the developer, Arek Fressadi of being a Wildcatter. But it appears that the Town caused the illegality creating an extraordinary exposure of liability.

Fressadi has accused the Town of criminal conduct; that the Town committed Class 1 Misdemeanors by issuing void permits to allow infrastructure and houses to be built on unlawful lots. Fressadi claims that the maximum penalties against the Town are about $800 Million but is willing to settle for $75 Million. See: 6-30-13 notice of claim w exh.

Based on Fressadi’s claim, Hoeppner’s argument that the Town is wasting money for two town managers is penny wise and pound foolish. The magnitude of Usama’s malfeasance in Fressadi’s Notice of Claim dwarfs all other budgetary and fiscal accountability issues of the Town. Clearly this matter merits more than just a couple of CPAs, a couple of weeks, and some strong coffee.

Jon Hoeppner – A “Sorchych Stupid” Sycophant

A Sonoran Truth Editorial, July 11, 2013.

Definition: “Sorchych Stupid,” (Best said with a Nazi German accent) or “SS.” Someone who will do Don’s bidding regardless of logic or reason. Note: Some SS were stupid BEFORE they started doing Don’s bidding.

Jon recently touted that he and two others are the Founders of Cave Creek—sort of like Jon is the Lord and Master of the Land, and all citizens of Cave Creek are his vassals. Anyhow, Donny Boy gave Jon guest editorial status to speak incoherently and blather on about Glassman and false advertising—characterizing the ethics and values for which four new council members aspire as simply “Branding.”

But we remember goofy Jon Hoeppner for his harebrained attempts to close the Scottsdale Airport. Harebrained Hoeppner made 998 out of 1,003 noise complaints noise complaints in an arrogant attempt to close the Scottsdale Airport a few years ago.  But don’t hold us to the exact numbers.

Hoeppner is a founder of Quiet Skies, a group that foolishly and unsuccessfully sued the FAA several years ago over rerouted flights. SS Jonny even suckered Cave Creek and Carefree into spending $25,000 to participate in this losing lawsuit.

Hoeppner obviously lives in Cave Creek…20 miles from the Scottsdale Airport! Apparently Jon would stand outside all day watching airplanes that he believed went to the Scottsdale Airport. This kind of behavior is the kind of thing mental patients do. It’s called Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Another example of his extremism is taking a speeding ticket to the Arizona Court of Appeals. He must be impressed with himself to think he could get the Appellate court to buy his nutty argument. Here’s an article from the Az. Republic:

“John Hoeppner of Cave Creek was ticketed in March (2004) for going 59 in a 45 mile per hour zone on Cave Creek Road just north of the Carefree Highway. He had received another speeding ticket in almost the same place three years earlier. He hired a lawyer to fight the ticket three years ago and lost. He has taken the most recent case to the Court of Appeals, claiming he was driving at a safe speed on this stretch of road, which consists of four lanes separated by a median”http://www.azcentral.com/community/scottsdale/articles/1113sr-speedtrap13insideZ8.html

How do you think it turned out? Of course he lost…he’s an extremist who apparently has a need for control…like his idol Sorchych.

SS Hoeppner was also given space in the Sonoran News to pontificate that the Cave Creek Council should have kept the “gift” of land fraudulently transferred to the Town of Cave Creek by Dog Poop Don to screw with his neighbor Jerry Freeman. Don gave the Town Jerry’s driveway while they were in litigation!!!

In effect, Jon condoned this illegal act for which Sorchych and his attorney were sanctioned by the Superior Court. Sorchych and his attorney were ordered to pay Attorney fees to Freeman in this matter. Yet, SS Hoeppner apparently thinks this kind of fraud is OK and then had the gall to “brand” Freeman as a bully. Perhaps we should get the branding irons out, and starting branding the SS.
